MISSION STATEMENT AND PHILOSPHY OF EDUCATION
At The Sunnyside Academy, our mission is to provide loving, safe, and nurturing childcare services for children 6 weeks to 12 years. To provide high quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum-based childcare for children up to 12 years of age with a focus on their social, cognitive, physical, and emotional growth.
At The Sunnyside Academy we believe children learn best in a nurturing environment combining a curriculum and child-initiated play-based program that fosters self-confidence, trust, creativity, autonomy, and acceptance of individual differences. The staff establishes positive personal interaction, nurturing each child's growth and education. Our curriculum helps to ensure that our children are ready for the next stages of their lives.

The Sunnyside Academy - Name Change
We are excited to announce that The Sunnyside Daycare LLC is now doing business as The Sunnyside Academy! This change reflects our growth and evolution as a leading childcare and educational center.
Our new name represents the strides we’ve made in elevating our programs, including our comprehensive full curriculum and the progression of our star status. These advancements, along with our ambitious future plans, have earned us this prestigious new identity.

CACFP Program
CACFP Program
As of May 1, 2022 The Sunnyside Academy participates in the NM CACFP program. Upon enrollment to our center each family will be required to fill out the necessary documents to determine eligibility into the program. This form resembles the Free/Reduced Lunch form that is filled out for school age children.
Each family will need to have one on file each year regardless of eligibility as a requirement of the program.
Food Program.
