Yes, The Sunnyside Academy is a licensed facility through the State of New Mexico state licensing agency. The Sunnyside Academy is licensed through its legal name The Sunnyside Daycare LLC. 

We are currently the only FOCUS 3-star facility but we are working with the consultants to become a 4-star facility. At The Sunnyside Daycare we are always striving to make a bigger difference. 

We are currently licensed for children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age. 

All teachers are required to complete the required certification within the first 6 months of employment if they don't already have it when starting at The Sunnyside Academy.  Once this is completed our staff members are required to complete ongoing training at a minimum of 24 credit hours per year.  

Currently our tuition rates are:

Under 2 - $215 per week

2 and over - $195 per week

After School PreK (full day 4y program at CMS) - $135 per week

After school care (while school is in session) - $130 per week

The Sunnyside Academy does not currently offer a part time rate.  Each child is billed at the full time rate and our current rate covers up to 50 hours per week (typically 10 hours per day or less).  Attendance over 50 hours per week does incur an additional charge.  

Yes, we accept full time state assistance for tuition. Part-time contracts for students below school age are not currently accepted.

The Sunnyside Academy has cameras in each of the rooms and hallways. The cameras can be viewed on displayed monitors in administrative office. Parents are welcome to view cameras within facility but these cameras are not available to be seen from outside the  facility for safety reasons.  

We use a system/app called Procare.  This systems allows parents to have direct access to teachers, admin, see a summary of their child's day.  

We have a secure door system that only parents of enrolled children may access, anyone else must ring the bell and be let into the building by a member of the staff.  Each person that is authorized to pick up/drop off a child has a unique code so the system can tell who dropped off/picked up children.
